A Word in Appreciation

About his time of year three years ago (can it be so long? yes, I looked it up), this wonderful site Green Room came to be and became my new iHome - a place where I can share my thoughts and complaints and discoveries and favorite quotes and silly poems, and read all of those from others in the truly international Green Room community. I've been in many green rooms in my time and for me they have been nervous places, but this one I find both comfortable and comforting. I want to thank our host Rosy and her  intrepid support staff for their dedication and commitment over these years, and hopefully in the years to come.

Yes, well said, Stephen. May I join you in thanking Rosy for providing this invaluable space for us bloggers – especially the Red Room orphans – and for all her kind support.

Yes, indeed. Rosy guided our little Red Room lifeboat into a very safe and welcoming harbor. A good place to set down roots and grow. Many thanks to Rosy and all who dwell here.

Bless you, Steve, that's truly touching. You are very welcome! I love the fondant pink peony, one of my all-time favourite flowers since being six or seven, which is several incarnations ago!

And thank you to all who have commented. It's good to have you on board sharing your experiences and your different 'takes' on situations. There's a lovely medley of voices in this room and I hope we'll continue to thrive for many years to come. Green Room is about its membership, their interests, and a special interaction and support of one another, as well as a channel for sharing our blogs further afield. I'd like to think it's a place of refuge from an increasingly hostile world.

Chris joins me in warm appreciation of these tributes and is glad that the project has proved so worthwhile.

God bless the Green Room and all who sail in our lifeboat! :-)

Wonderful! This makes me feel very emotional and grateful. I am not a disciplined writer as you all are and I thank you Rosy and each and everyone of you for keeping me safe. Green Room has not forgotten me despite my erratic mood coming in and out. If truth be told, I have a busy work life schedule that has taken over my creative energy. Not a complaint, just sharing.... regardless, each and every time I come running back into Green Room, everyone is there to welcome me back without question. Thank you Rosy for opening your home to me endlessly and faithfully! Bless Green Room and all of us who live in this wonderful home!

That's beautiful, Stephen, sentiments that reflect my own thoughts. It's a place to play and be opinionated, to cry and love.

Thank you, Rosy. x

Thank you, Stephen for saying this - couldn't agree more and it's great to find a home that we all can share the enjoyment of each other's writing.
Many thanks, Rosy for doing this - you opened a magical door for us.
