Scarred People are Beautiful People

We are all born with scars.  Some are born with visible scars; others are born with invisible scars.  Yet, others are born with both.

The visible scars when healed more often than not disappear in time.  On the other hand, invisible scars sometimes heal and sometimes don’t.  Managing the invisible scars that have trouble healing takes time and patience.  How these inner scars are managed depends on every individual.

Bottom line is nobody is perfect.  The more beautiful on the outside sometimes means the more in need of healing on the inside.  That’s the irony of it all.

Regardless of where the scars lie, all scarred people are beautiful people.  If they are not beautiful on the outside then certainly they are beautiful on the inside.  After all, beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder.

No Words

I stand from a distance, watching.

Better that way so I don’t see the warts up close.

Or is it the other way around?

It’s my flaws that I am afraid of showing.

Sometimes it’s better this way…

Watching, remembering from a distance.

The timing is off and there are no words for now.

So I am back where I started.

Faithfully gazing that familiar way.

No words and from a distance.

The Wisdom Behind the Decision

Stick with what is real.

The truth will set you free.

Settle for nothing less than what liberates you.

Lose not yourself by morphing into someone you are not.

Let go of the justification in trying to believe it’s ok.

It is not ok to sell yourself short.

Acknowledge only truth and you will see how easy it is to stay on top of your game.

Speak to the Wind

If it feels nice, don’t even think twice about it.

Call it out if you need help to you get through the day.

Show you care in more ways than the usual.

What better way to express love!

It makes sitting around a lot more pleasurable.

Share everything while dreaming big.

Whisper gently.  It’s ok to let those thoughts flow.

Just don’t let it flow in the direction where it isn’t supposed to flow.

Believe me, it does get easier with a little practice.

And when you can’t find a friend, feeling nice will nip it in the bud!
