TRUST

My thoughts are hazy.

Sleep last night was interrupted.

A premonition of sorts?

Maybe just a reminder of what needs to be done.

They say it's all about the timing of things.

Is there ever a right time or perfect timing?

More often than not, one just has to trust.

Trust in the not knowing.

Trust in the uncertainty.

Best of all, trust in him up there.

Somewhere in the sky behind the haze,

Someone is watching over me.

This I trust 100%.

Faith and Grace

I think about dad a lot.

I don’t see him as often as I should.

There is nothing to explain really.

It’s just the way things are.

Yes I know.

I should, I must, I have to.

My point is about something else.

I think about Faith and Grace a lot.

I do what I can to keep the faith.

I believe that with grace, nothing could ever be lost.

Odds and Ends

The answer doesn’t have to be long and complicated.

It’s actually quite simple.

The manner of talking is what makes or breaks.

People like to believe they can read you.

Never believe anyone who insists they know what’s inside of you.

Only you can accurately define what you are feeling, no one else.

Sometimes people aren’t in the mood.

When this happens, be prepared.

Remember, you know better and one’s meanness is hardly ever about you.

“Listen to the music behind the words.”

Sometimes, it’s not literally the question asked, rather it’s a way to engage in small talk.

Especially when you’re trying to break the tension.

Trust your instincts.

However reasonable the intentions may be.

If it doesn’t make you feel at ease, then something is surely off.

Sometimes

You just have to let it go and let things be.

Believe that in the end it will all work out as meant to be.

Everyone knows what his or her best is.

Not everyone cares to shout it out.

Others trust in their own silence.

I should trust in their silence too.

If I can trust that I know best, no reason not to trust others’ best.

Sometimes, there is no best, just let it be then.

My father’s colleague passed away in his sleep.

The day before he was up and about doing his thing.

My father saw him in the hallway and they waved at each other.

The following morning he never woke up.

To worry what will happen sometimes gets you nowhere.

It’s easy to plan things but how they turn out is all up in the air.

So I’ve heard many times over, “live now, live your best life now.”

What good is worrying about the future if one can’t live well now?

Sometimes, even to live well now is difficult.

We all have varying circumstances, thou shall not judge, right?

It’s Monday morning and my thoughts are cropping up one by one.

I’m rambling but it helps me to lay my thoughts out as they arise.

Sometimes, I over think, over exaggerate, over estimate and I over do.

Time ticks and life just continues to flow.

I just need to trust and keep on going toward where my best is.

Not sometimes, but all the time.
